This afternoon I invited Brooke to the Mayor’s Parlour to present him with a Mayor’s Appreciation Award and offer him my Mayoral Seat.
This award recognises his extraordinary, tremendous courage and bravery and for making such progress.
Brooke has made a remarkable recovery after his lost his limbs, eye through a meningococcal condition & sepsis . He subsequently had a kidney transplant.
Brooke is one of the most resilient young men I’ve met in my life so far, with such a positive attitude. He is now keen to promote sepsis and organ donation awareness.
