I thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with the RSPCA Team at their End of Summer Fun Day on 3rd September 2022.
Every year thousands of animals suffer from neglect, cruelty and abuse. They end their misery. RSPCA relies on voluntary fundraising and todays fun day was another effort to raise funds.
The RSPCA are an independent charity who rehabilitate and rehome cats rescued by the national RSPCA and surrendered by the public. They provide a subsidised neutering scheme for members of the public on a low income. As an independent charity they must raise all their own funding to continue to operate, this is one of the reasons for their fun day, and also to welcome back public to the centre after having to be closed during the covid pandemic.
