I’m honoured and delighted to be standing again as Alexandra Ward’s Labour Candidate in the 2021 Local Council Elections. During the last 8 years, it’s been a privilege to meet and work alongside so many individuals, families and groups to support with problems, resolve issues and develop projects.

In the last year, COVID-19 restrictions have prevented me from meeting people face to face through ward surgeries, home visits or events. However, it’s easy to contact me and I’ve been no less busy in supporting and helping the people of Alexandra Ward. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need our advice or help. We’ve been active in supporting people throughout this crisis with activities such as working in the Food Bank, delivering food to families, joining the Covid Doorstep Teams and speaking with lonely and vulnerable residents. In this election, there is a clear choice between the candidates of parties which have inflicted great harm on many Oldham people or me who will continue to work with you to get the best we can for all residents.

We know Oldham can’t rely on the Conservatives to help us rebuild but our Labour Council has ambitious plans to ensure we recover as quickly as we can.

We can do this because we have a strong Labour majority that can make the bold decisions our town needs to prosper. Please vote for me and Andy Burnham on May 6th so we can continue to stand up for the people of Oldham and Alexandra.
